Computerlove in residence at la Maison de la Bellone in Brussels within the context of the Netdays 2003.
An exhibition offering a vision of the international creative design's vitality and diversity takes over the place.
Concerned to keep a sensual relation to the graphic object and to locally promote the contemporary graphic design, Computerlove exhibits offline for the very first time. This exhibit shows, in five different spaces, works from about 30 different artists through a selection of more than 50 objects, 25 motion design creations, onsite graphic interventions by Michael C. Place/Build (ex-Designer Republic) and the Computerlove Poster Design Contest 2003 in progress.
The preview will take place on Friday November 14th 2003 from 18h30 to 23h. Large screen projection and presence of Computerlove team and Build / Michael C. Place + DJ electro-pop (Nurse - Belgium).
The exhibit is taking place from November 15th to 27th from 12h to 17h with nocturnes until 22h on November 19th and 20th.
Maison du Spectacle - la Bellone./print-eractive: Print is definitely not dead. Michael C. Place [ex-tDR] explores the concept of printing different inks in different orders on paper. Here he explores the concept of scale versus detail in a special large scale visual format, which invades the gallery space. Builds ./offline Identity system has been deployed around the streets of downtown Brussels, as well as informing the user how to navigate the gallery. Build is Michael C. Place.
